Thank you for taking the lead to support a Learn and Serve Texas grant in your district for one last time! For the remainder of this school year, we will be investing in a variety of capacity building activities to ensure that other organizations will continue to support service-learning in Texas in the future. You can do your part by planning grant expenditures that support student service-learning this spring and that help your school district plan for service-learning next year without Learn and Serve funds.  Please contact us for guidance or with questions.

You will need to complete two expenditure reports, the SLT Progress Report, and the LASSIE report by the deadlines indicated below.  All necessary information for the grant is available in the “2011-2012 Documents” box on the top right of this screen.  If you need a refresher on the use of the LASSIE system, which also allows you to enable eWorksheets to help individual teachers track LASSIE-related data, please view the LASSIE webinar from last year, which is still pertinent.

As the semester progresses, we will let you know about other events that we may be scheduling, including webinars, conference calls, and a Summer Institute.
